We pack orders in-house and charge a flat rate for postage & handling. We charge the same low postage rate, no matter how large your order or where you are. We primarily use the Australia Post delivery network. For particularly large orders, we occasionally use courier companies. Orders are picked up from us at 3:30pm on business days. If you need your order ASAP it is wise to use our Express Post option, see below. Please note our dispatch policy during our “busy times” below. We are based in Canberra, the Capital City of Australia, so we are on Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
$22 Express Post (plus GST)
If you need your order ASAP you can use our Express Post option, AUD$22.00 plus GST. We aim for but do not guarantee a next day delivery if you are in an Express Post serviced postcode and if not, your order will arrive faster than normal delivery. A link to postcodes serviced by Express Post is below. Even if your postcode is not listed, if you choose Express Post we will prioritise your order and get it to you ASAP. We need to receive your order by midday to make our 3:30pm Australia Post pickup. If you need your order urgently choose Express Post on check out and then phone us on (02) 5105 5262 to ensure that we prioritise your order.
Australian Express Post Network
For next business day delivery, Express Post orders can be sent to all postcodes listed on the Australia Post website here. Even if your postcode is not listed, if you choose Express Post we will prioritise your order and get it to you ASAP.
$12 Flat Rate Postage (plus GST)
Our flat rate postage within Australia is AUD$12.00 plus GST. We aim to have your order to you within 10 days. See the exception to this in “Our Busy Times” below. We had not raised our postage & handling rate for eight years and have only recently raised the price to keep up with price rises passed on to us by Australia Post.
International Postage (outside Australia)
To send orders overseas (outside Australia) we charge the following flat rates for postage & handling:
New Zealand AUD$25 – International Post with a 5 day delivery.
Asia AUD$45 – International Post with a 14 day delivery.
USA and Canada – Customers from the US and Canada should go to our USA website.
UK and Europe – Customers from the UK and Europe should go to our UK website.
Overseas clients outside these regions can email us for a special quote on postage (we will need your order and address details) and we will find you the cheapest postage. Email us via firstname.lastname@example.org or you can phone us on +61 2 5105 5262.
Prices on our website display outside Australia WITHOUT the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST), as the Australian Tax is not applicable to overseas purchases.
Posters are sent in a poster roll and sent separately to books purchased in the same order. Posters usually take a little longer to arrive (even when posted at the same time as books, that’s because poster rolls have to be manually sorted as they can not be handled by AusPost’s sorting machines) so don’t worry, your poster(s) will arrive shortly after your books.
Our Busy Times
Please be aware that during our “busy times” i.e. end of Financial Year rush, end of school term rush or when Michelle Garcia Winner or any of our other speakers are in Australia, it may take up to ten days to dispatch your order. Australia Post delivery time is on top of that.
My order has not turned up
Expect to receive your order within 10 days of purchase – a bit longer during our “busy times” as explained above – contact us if your order fails to arrive.
